Classes offered by Fusion Dance Center may be taken by students from ages 3-adult; beginning through advanced. Students may study 1 hour weekly or may choose a more intensive study meeting a couple of times per week.

This class will focus on the fundamentals of jazz dancing. Students will learn proper jazz technique including exercises to improve flexibility, strength, and control. This free style of dance involves isolations, jumps, leaps, and turns, and students will learn combinations influenced by contemporary dances and music of today. Attire includes any solid color leotard /camisole top, tights or black jazz pants, and hair pulled back. Tan slip on jazz boots (gores).

Tap dancing provides a great source of rhythmic skill development. With it being an audible dance form, tap focuses on learning the fundamental tap sounds while working on progressions to build new rhythms upon the basics. Tap dance stimulates a sense of rhythm and beat and is popular for all ages.

Ballet focuses on proper placement and alignment of the body along with muscle control and flexibility. Classical ballet methods will be stressed in these classes. A must for the serious dancer! Attire includes any color leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and hair pulled back. Ballet skirt optional.

This trendy fad, based on street dancing, combine's today’s latest moves as seen in music videos. Hip Hop is an energetic and fun style of dance enjoyed by all ages. Attire includes any color leotard/ camisole top, jazz pants, black Hip Hop sneakers, and hair pulled back.

A combination of gymnastic and cheerdance involving stretching, floor work, and tumbling. Acro is designed to enhance a dancers flexibility and strength. Attire includes any color leotard, footless tights or jazz pants, bare feet or dance paws, and hair pulled back.

This class incorporates jazz, ballet, and modern styles of dance. It encourages natural fluid movement and personal interpretation of the music. Contemporary focuses on self-expression, awareness of space and body movement, use of body weight, efficiency of muscle use, and proper body alignment.
